Okay it’s been a bit so time to catch up. Here’s a pic of us going wing on wing using our drifter. It’s a great mode of travel for down wind, we cheat and use a preventer for the main. Now the part that is FULL disclosure is this: we had to use it. Why? Cause after being stranded for a day waiting for someone to look at our carb. We had cleaned it ourselves and that hadn’t fixed the low idle issue. Someone finally did. And he found a particulate in the idle jet so 125 buck later we are good to go. Or so we think. We are motoring across Gardiner’s Sound and the oil light goes on and it immediately starts to run rough. So we shut it down. Put up our sail and change course to the mouth of the Mystic River.
